Tina and Mike’s Wedding at Royal Fiesta

Tina and Mike had a beautiful wedding at Royal Fiesta in Deerfield Beach. You can see from the photos below how lighting can completely transform a room to match your wedding colors! I love all the little details Tina and Mike incorporated into their wedding, like the pink uplights perfectly matching Tina’s flowers and the pairs of goldfish in the centerpieces. As usual, Mari did an amazing job photographing this couple. I particularly love the bridal portraits in the beginning!

Megan and Danny’s South Florida Beach Engagement Photos

I absolutely LOVE Megan and Danny! I had the pleasure of working with them from their engagement photos all the way until their wedding album was complete. I loved designing their album – Megan and Danny have a fantastic creative vision. They are so much fun, you can really see it in these photos I’ve picked from their beach engagement session. I love how the blue in their outfits so perfectly coordinated with the ocean and sky, and even the blue in the shadows cast on the sand. Our photographer Dan did an excellent job, Megan looks gorgeous (look at the sunlight in her blonde hair! It just glows!) and she and Danny look great together.

Ramanda & Greg’s Destination Wedding at Westin Cypress Creek

Ramanda and Greg and their closest family and friends joined us from Georgia for their destination wedding at Westin Cypress Creek in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I know we say this about all of our brides but this couple absolutely radiates love and closeness, they are so wonderful. Look at the joy in their faces!

I actually designed the monogram lit gobo (you can see it on the dance floor below) and then used that same monogram in the seating chart, and it brightened my day to work with such lively, fun colors like hot pink, lime green, and orange. Greg was always so warm and friendly when he called, it was a pleasure working with him.

We also loved working with Pat McCarthy at the Westin. Their staff is so professional and the hotel is gorgeous. I love the tropical waterfall by the pool!

ToniAnn and Jason’s Wedding at Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six in Downtown Fort Lauderdale

ToniAnn and Jason’s wedding was just gorgeous. It’s hard to go wrong with views like the ones offered by the roof top ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six in the downtown Ft. Lauderdale area. I had the pleasure of designing the wedding album for ToniAnn and Jason. They are so much fun, and their wedding was really stylish and sophisticated. Their reception decor was fabulous! And what a gorgeous sunset! Look at those perfectly cloudless, deep blue skies during her ceremony. I could go on and on. I especially loved ToniAnn’s fun, fluttery wedding gown and the twinkling lights from the intercoastal waterway.

Donna & Kyle’s Destination Wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Palm Beach

Donna, Kyle, and fifty of their family and friends traveled from New Jersey to the beautiful Ritz Carlton in Manalapan, Palm Beach, Florida for a modern, fun-filled destination wedding weekend.  Donna used simple, elegant decor featuring mirrors and spectacular lighting to transofrm her room into a soft, romantic vision of pink and gold.  The Ritz Carlton makes a great backdrop for fantastic photography, we had such a hard time picking only a selection of our favorite photos from this wedding.  It was a joy to work with catering manager Danielle.

I loved being Donna and Kyle’s Day-Of Coordinator!  They called me their little “wedding angel”!  84 West Studios photographer Dan, videographer Andy and DJ Adam rounded out Donna and Kyle’s wedding entourage.

Angela & Shawn: more great Jacaranda wedding photography!

Angela and Shawn are one of the happiest couples we have ever met! Their wedding at Jacaranda Country Club was fantastic. We love working with the staff at Jacaranda because they are professional and ready to accommodate your every need. We are so lucky to be working with fun, wonderful couples getting married every day!

Our favorite photo of Angela and Shawn is their first dance. We love the way the natural light makes the image glow.

Brittany & Mark’s gorgeous wedding at Jacaranda Country Club in Plantation

When our good friends Nancy and Angelo’s son became engaged, they came to 84 West Studios to help plan their wedding. Brittany was a beautiful bride and the entire family was filled with tremendous emotion on the wedding day. The best man’s speech was one of the funniest I’ve ever heard! Not to be outdone by his son, Angelo, the groom’s Dad, delivered a speech so funny we thought we were in a comedy club! Brittany and Mark had their first dance choreographed, much to the delight of the guests. Their lovely, rich palette of green, sage, cream, and champagne really matched the beautiful venue. We love outdoor wedding ceremonies at the southern-style white gazebo at Jacaranda Country Club in Plantation, Florida, and their reception room is just as lovely with lit ceiling draping and huge bay windows.

Engagement Shots We Love: Downtown Ft. Lauderdale Urban Chic

Here is an engagement session we did recently that we absolutely love! Bela and Jaime have so much personality- it really came through in these shots. Downtown Ft. Lauderdale’s Las Olas Riverfront offers a colorful, almost Art Deco inspired urban backdrop that is unique to South Florida. It turned out to be a perfect match for Bela and Jaime! We love how the Sun Trolley is driving past our couple in the first shot.

September Venue of the Month Crowne Plaza Sawgrass

Stephanie Wallet Bat Mitzvah in Sunrise

There aren’t many hotels in West Broward that can host your events, but the ones that do exist offer plenty of reasons to keep you and your party out West.  One such venue is the Crowne Plaza Hotel Sawgrass, also known as the Crowne Plaza Sunrise. 

Recently Party Time provided DJ, Photography, Video and Lighting services for Stephanie Wallet’s Bat Mitzvah at the Crowne Plaza.  Brigitte Rivera and her staff were on hand to help create another spectacular event.  Stephanie’s theme was Under The Sea, which was created with the help of lots of balloons in the shape of bubbles, fish, and coral, as well as sunken treasure decor.  Larry Cooper of Moonlight Balloons created the Under The Sea theme, and when it was all combined with our teal and amber abient lighting it truly felt like you were under the sea!
