Client Showcase: ASP – Camp Renegade

Every year school begins in August. If you’re a parent, that means going back to your school year routine. If you’re a student, it means going back to your studies and your friends. For 84 West Studios, it means going back to school events. I’m not talking regular parties here- I’m talking about “edutainment” (or educational entertainment) events.

If you have kids in school, you know that throughout the year there are Early Release days in the school schedule. But do you know why these days exist? Teachers are required to attend classes themselves to learn the latest teaching programs or newest technology in order to be better prepared to teach our children. These early release days allow students to leave school earlier while the teachers stay at school and learn. So what do the students do when they get out so early?

ASP & Camp Renegade are really one and the same. They are a company based in Deerfield Beach that provides before and after school care (at the schools) and Day Camp’s during the school holidays & summer break. They are licensed contractors to Broward Schools where their services are utilized by thousands of families each day. On Early Release days, ASP hires 84 West Studios to provide educating & entertaining Game Shows and Disc Jockey’s as an additional program that the students enjoy. Our Game Shows allow students to participate in a TV style game show, while answering a mix of questions that are both fun and educating. Many of the kids have no idea that they are learning while they are playing, whick is why we call it edutaining! The Game Shows are so popular amoung the students and there never seems to be enough time to get everyone to play. Students participate against other students in their age/grade level and answer questions that are grade level appropriate.

Game Shows are a popular option not only for students but for team building at company events, cocktail hour entertainment at Bat Mitzvahs & Weddings (family feud) or any event that is looking for a unique way to entertain that is highly interactive.

84 West Studios has had performed almost 200 events for ASP over our ten year relationship and we appreciate the opportunity they have provided us as one of their regular vendors. The students we’ve entertained and the staff we’ve worked with have been a pleasure.
